Pros

You will learn everything you need to know to succeed in branding at CD. It is a whirlwind of creativity, talent, and drive, and the employees are SO intelligent. Nancy and Sybil hold everyone to such high standards that you have no choice but to meet every challenge full force. CD makes you a stronger, thick-skinned person very quickly, and employees that leave CD go on to do great things.

Cons

It is exhausting and there are no boundaries between work and personal life. I've been called at 9am on Saturday morning just because someone wanted to make sure I got an email that they had sent 30 minutes prior (it was not urgent). Clients have called me at 10pm on a Friday night while I'm out with friends. You work 24/7 for very little pay; not to mention the verbal abuse you may receive when something isn't completely perfect. NEVER show weakness, or it will forever define you.

Pros

For a company of its size, CD has a quite impressive client base and solid cases. It is a great place for those on junior level who want to learn as much as possible in a short period of time.

Cons

Pressure is very high; people are often extremely overworked and burn out quickly. Poor advancement options make it It's pretty much impossible to move up and many talented individuals decide to leave the company after about 1-2 years. Pay is low and definitely not adequate to the amount and quality of work expected. Zero benefits.

Pros

+You will have the opportunity to work across an incredible client list - from fortune 500 companies to up-and-coming start-ups +Projects range from strategic visioning to brand and innovation strategy and product development. For the most part, everyone works cross-functionally +Senior management is very experienced (15 years plus in the industry) and you will learn a lot from them and how they think +Combining creativity with strategy is a difficult skill to finesse, this is one skill you will have the chance to exercise frequently +The staff as CD is fun, hard-working, and smart. On a personal level, everyone gets along really well

Cons

Like other agencies or consultancies, hours will be long, travel is required, and both senior management and clients expect a lot from you and the quality of your work. But if you have the right mindset you will thrive, CD will make you a better strategist and consultant
