I have been working at Creative Group full-time

    Pros

Awesome colleagues, beautiful new office, growth opportunities, good benefits, travel opportunities.

    Cons

The company is experiencing growing pains, which is hard for some tenured employees to adapt to. Sometimes there isn't a great work/life balance. Pay isn't that great but I think it is pretty standard for the industry.

    Advice to Management

Create an incentive travel program for employees just like we do for our customers.

    Pros

None that I am aware of

    Cons

HR does not have the professionalism and far too much attitude. You want qualified candidates, you treat them respectfully.

    Advice to Management

Need to evaluate your organization who is working for you and clean house.

I worked at Creative Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

In general, there's so much turnover, that "new blood" is constantly being injected. Which can be a good thing, but is causing client interruptions and service issues. Although the management would like to believe there is a "family atmosphere", these are just words and when it comes down to brass tacks, your opinions are not respected like family and you are not supported like family.

    Cons

Real downsides to a culture going through massive change without a leader who knows how to institute change. Management spends lots of time planning changes that cannot be implemented, because there are so many levels who all must approve/buy-in. Account Executives who have long-tenure (and who don't buy-in to changes) are left to do their own thing - and others are told to look the other way. This causes misunderstandings and undermines authority.

    Advice to Management

The top of the house has no idea how to implement change, nor understands the implications this has on the employee morale. There's also confusing and misleading religious under-tones communicated within the management ranks. This was unsettling, uncomfortable and completely unacceptable in the business-setting.

I have been working at Creative Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The variety of work (incentive and business meetings) along with team atmosphere, really make CGI a great place to work.

    Cons

The distance from from where i live is trying and challenging. The travel is a great perk, but also getting to be a bit much with work/life balance.
