Unfortunately there is a lot of information in this post that is inaccurate but this is not the place and the way Glassdoor is set up we can't refute the claims other than to identify that it was made by a disgruntled employee who was let go. We take our culture and our team mentality very seriously and have been recognized as one of the fastest growing and best places to work for both locally and nationally because of it.

Pros

-There are some great people working here that are doing their best to make CW a better place to work. -CW is actively trying to improve regularly. The company still has a lot of growth to do by way of improvement, but that they want to try to improve is important to note. -Work life balance is becoming more of a priority here. -It's a small company, which means getting to be apart of more areas of a project than in a big company. -Makes unique projects for sure--more often then not you'll be working on a project you never thought you would. -The CEO is evolving which is admirable despite him not always being intentional. -Ultimately, time spent employed at this company is what you make it. The skill set necessary to do the technical work here is very niche, so it's important to utilize skills earned on the job in such a way that you'll keep relevant for the next career step.

Cons

-Not a lot of opportunities for growth here beyond switching departments. Leadership is locked into place and exclusive regardless of merit, so don't expect to climb the ladder. -Sexism is still a problem here. Females can expect to not make as much as their male counterparts and males will often get better opportunities on projects than females. -CW chokes itself on hype. There's a ton of excitement for promises of change, but often not much happens. Change is very slow here. -This company consistently prizes money and speed over quality.

Odd work environment

Pros

Well integrated web and social media. One of only a few companies that produces laser tag arenas in the U.S. Owner well respected and knowledgeable in laser tag community.

Cons

Very long sales life process. Make take a year or more to close a sale. Poor leads that are unqualified or financially ready too purchase. Mostly dreamers with no business plan in place. Larger established companies belong to owner. Smaller products for sale are high maintenance and not competitive with other products or practical with others already available on market. Long ROI. Poor or no financing options. Too small a company for advancement. Poor management with no training or support. No real sales plan in place or direction. Dingy work environment. Weak uncompetitive benefits offered. Oddly, quiet environment. No celebrating sales successes. Overall amateurish.

Thank you for your review, in the 3+ years since we have grown considerably to now over 40 team members providing plenty of room for advancement. Our sales and marketing team have doubled the size of the company in that time for sales and projects, and we have undergone a major renovation throughout both of our buildings. Hopefully we can continue to grow in such positive directions as we celebrate our 20th anniversary this year!
