Delphi-US Response

To clarify, this individual was never employed at Delphi-US. Under no circumstances has Delphi-US ever asked our internal staff or consultants to purchase equipment for reimbursement. Individuals at our organization had their identity stolen and scammers used our name to post fake jobs, with fake contracts, and a requirement to purchase equipment. Police were unable to help us resolve the issue. We feel terrible for those who were victims of the scam, and commend those who contacted our organization to validate this "too good to be true" offer and notify us.

Pros

It's genuinely hard to think of any, personally. In my opinion, if you're very desperate for an entry-level job and/or interested in transitioning into recruitment from another industry and live in Southern RI, this might be a good place to at least get the requisite experience under your belt (1-2 years) before looking for another opportunity. Or if you're a professional who would like to be a "big fish" in not even a small pond... and absolute wading pool, you might have the opportunity to make decent money after a few years. However, from my experience, you'd be able to make a substantially more at another firm with an equal amount of effort.

Cons

- No 401k or retirement plans during my time there - No HR Department (or HR personnel period) - Incredibly low base salary (recruiters on the contract side were started at $35k.. in 2022) - Very technologically inept - Limited resources for recruiters - Poor management/leadership - Poorly defined values - No developed KPIs - No opportunities for growth - Unprofessional and discriminatory hiring practices - Horrific (not exaggerating) cultural standard for their employees. Ask people for stories. My advice would be to reach out to people on LinkedIn who previously worked for the company and solicit their opinions and advice before accepting an offer. And if you're interested in recruitment or sales and a recent college graduate, explore a more established/larger company for an entry-level position alongside an opportunity with Delphi. If you're an experienced recruiter, my advice would be to proceed with caution. The commission structure can seem decent at first, but.. the very limited number of resources provided company culture, lack of organization, and incessant micromanaging were insurmountable barriers. I felt like revenue is incredibly low (at least in FY 2022) for an organization in business as long as these guys as well. Reach out to people before accepting an offer. Ask the management tough questions about human resources issues and culture.
