      The best career I ever had

      Pros

      For the time that I was employed as an ECE teacher, I had amazing support from my fellow teachers, all the way up to the Director of the department. Fellow teachers were all high quality people and we all shared the common goal of ensuring that the children received the best care, attention and lessons for the future.

      Cons

      Sometimes it would be difficult to get materials and resources for children who needed extra support. But this is something that ALL teachers in the province have to deal with.

      Senior leadership was homogenous, which impacted cultural awareness and inclusivity. Burnout and turnover were high due to nature of the job
