I worked at Digital Look full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Office is in the City

    Cons

The business' sister company is based in Spain but the management has clearly failed to understand a UK-based business should be run according to UK laws. Employees are paid a pittance and asked to constantly take on extra work, despite the lack of training.

    Advice to Management

Read up on UK employment law for a start.

    Pros

Great team of staff in London

    Cons

Long hours, underpaid staff, no benefits, ran by Spanish company who have no idea how to run the business, no HR in place, staff not looked after at all, expected to take on jobs you have had no training in to cut employment costs

    Advice to Management

Look after your staff better and follow UK employment laws

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Good salary and benefits package. People generally friendly and co-operative.

    Cons

Poor communication and management. A failed attempt to integrate into its new parent company lead to senior management completely taking their eye off the ball which has resulted in poor performance and lay-offs.

A few people have a very obstructionist attitude that prevents others doing their jobs properly - I understand their reasons but they have to understand they need to give and take more.

Internal processes tend to be too bureaucratic and not fit for purpose.

    Advice to Management

Stick to your promises to focus on day-to-day management again
