Pros
The owner and his wife are awesome at prioritizing and overseeing sales and the sales team, while making the production staff feel undervalued, incompetent, and easily replaceable! The upper management, particularly the sales team, are experts at safeguarding their own interests, job security, and maximizing their earnings. They excel at power-tripping and abusing their authority to extract more from the staff for their own gain.
Cons
Production staff are lazy for not working on weekends, holidays, or even when they're sick. They are untrustworthy and are subjected to constant micromanagement. During slow periods, it is only fair to send them home without pay, despite their full-time status. They are also expected to accept the bare minimum wage with no additional benefits. Salary increases are out of the question since they should not get credited for any work done, tenure, nor complain or raise concerns on inflation as an excuse to get a raise. To thrive in this company, one must be resourceful, take initiative, and proactively "sip2x" with upper management and the owner to gain favor, take credit, and earn more!
