Lots of change in a short amount of time

I was hired as a senior executive in 2016 after many years at a larger agency. I had no idea that 2e existing in Downtown St. Louis. They're a niche life sciences marketing firm with serious chops in the pharma and med device space. Big brands, more than decent budgets provide stability (which you worry about in a boutique firm). The culture is great. I appreciate the honesty of senior staff and there are only one-two layers of approvals when making hires, investing in staff and attending conferences. They hire good people and let them do their jobs. We can go fast, fast, fast - whereas in a larger agency, I've seen it take six months to hire a qualified candidate and there's often no training budget. 2e's culture is hands down one of the best things about the firm. It's honest, sincere, and pretty transparent. If you work hard and are motivated - you are rewarded with opportunity, pay and professional affection. It's very rewarding to work here.

It doesn't have all the bells and whistles a big agency has - but they are little things. I pay for my parking (but it's maybe $30/month). I don't have a reserved parking spot in a building attached to the office. There's no executive life insurance.
