Pros

3Points really cares about its employees and the future of the company! They invest in individuals that really see the value of the company and the services offered. Management meets with their employees at least once a week so they’re aware of how their metrics align with the work each day/week. Monthly meetings are great as it gives everyone an opportunity to catch up with how the company is doing as a whole and covers monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. The people are absolutely great and definitely are there for you when you need assistance. It feels like everyone there is a part of my family. You may walk in not knowing how you’re going to fit in, but after a few days of being there, you know you’ve made a good decision! Everyone is super welcoming and outgoing. The technology at 3Points is improving! They are keeping up with the industry by updating technology and training their employees! This is a place for growth where you see it or want it. 3Points makes a great effort to ensure that employees are getting together outside of the work place. They offer monthly meetings, Thirsty Thursdays, two company outings per year(summer party and a holiday party), and provide monthly company lunches with food from local restaurants! Benefits: Health Benefits include medical, dental, vision. They have a 401K program with an employer match. They offer incentives throughout the year and competitive salary with growth potential. They really take feedback well and look to improve by providing employees with an anonymous survey every year.

Cons

Turnover rate. I don’t believe that it’s a matter of the company itself, rather more personal on each individual. I understand this industry is also very competitive and people try to move on to the next “best” thing without realizing what they’re leaving behind. 3Points is a small business, but it’s definitely keeping up with the competition.

Pros

If you are trying to get out of help desk and enter a systems engineer role then this is a great place to get experience. There are some very smart techs and engineers to learn from, and the environment is varied so you get daily opportunities to do new things into the network and server world. The starting salary is pretty good and there are plenty of advancement opportunities both in management and technical positions. 3points encourages personal growth and provides training resources for industry certifications. There's a lot of opportunity for career growth with frequent promotions becoming available, it's rare that 3points will hire an outside candidate over internal staff.

Cons

The company culture is very toxic. Leadership, management, and a lot of the staff encourage active humiliation and public shaming as the preferred communication method. There's a serious CYA problem throughout the company, including how client issues are dealt with and internally amongst staff. Salary and benefits are poor once you have moved beyond an entry level position. The benefits are below average for the industry and the pay is about 35% lower than most other companies once you have a year or two of experience. Employee turnover throughout the entire company is extremely high. Even the leadership team had a 50% turnover in the last two years. For the technicians this means long periods of very long hours and high stress, as well as frequent changes in management.
