Pros

1. if you can thrive at 99, you can thrive anywhere. standards are high and deadlines come thick and fast. being highly creative at that pace sets you up for success. 2. led by "human" humans. they'll demand a lot of you, but when you need them in your corner, they'll be there. 3. contrary to beliefs about retail, the potential for award-winning creative work is huge. big-budget clients with big potential = a "shoot for the moon" approach. 4. most people who leave for another job end up coming back. it's a truly unique place.

Cons

1. it really takes a certain kind of person to thrive here. if you just get by daily, clock in, clock out – it's not the place for you. you need to be passionate about what you do. 2. teams are split by client/brand, so if you have a less-ideal client, you can get stuck in a tough spot. the same applies to less-ideal managers. 3. it's a big agency. if you don't stick your neck out, it's easy to get lost.

Pros

1. Hybrid working setup which gives a really nice balance between office and personal life. 2. The culture is excellent — everyone is friendly, supportive, and it genuinely makes work fun. I love the people I work with. 3. I get to work on some of South Africa’s biggest retail brands, which has been an exciting and valuable experience creatively.

Cons

1. Salary growth and pay progression can sometimes feel limited. 2. Career advancement opportunities can take time depending on the structure of the agency. 3. There are occasional late nights during busy campaign periods, although it’s part of the agency environment and not too overwhelming most of the time.
