Pros

You'll learn about the generics and biosimilars industries

Cons

Dysfunctional environment. Association members do not get along, making it difficult to align on messaging. The industry players have very little money to spend on communications campaigns. The AAM executive team is not supportive of communications - only focused on lobbying and regulating.

Pros

You get to work from home. Also there is zero corporate culture so if you're an introvert, that doesn't care for water-cooler talk, this job could be a good fit. Management is very hands-off, almost to a fault.

Cons

They are severely understaffed. Training is literally just your first day then after that, you are expected to "ask questions" which wouldn't be so bad except that you quickly are made to feel bad as you essentially have to take co-workers away from their own work just to help you. There is zero incentive to be an overly productive worker because if you are, the only thing you get in return for it is more work and there is nearly an infinite amount of more work. My property's books were already two months behind when I got there and before I could even catch up they piled on even more properties and when I told them "Please, no mas!" they just shamed me by saying that I wasn't meeting the standards of a Senior accountant and that I was letting everyone down.
