Pros

Long lunch hours if you have your own classes. Laid back management, you can choose your own teaching style. Payment on time. Off on Sundays and public hoildays. Provide compensation leaves.

Cons

Zero to none career growth. Horrible management for curriculum. Administrators do not collaborate with teachers. Saturday 90mins x 5 class, they run this on a grey area, 15 mins between classes, but you won't exactly have 15 mins, after walking your students to the door you end up with about 5 mins each break. NO lunch time on ALL Saturdays. Head teachers like to play power moves, meaning if you don't get along with your head teacher you'll not have a pleasant experience here. Teachers aren't necessarily qualified, everyone is on different contract, you get paid not based on experience but based on nationality. You can earn up to 25k for your first years without any teaching experience if you're a westerner whilst Asian looking teachers with experience and qualification can be earning below 20k . If you want to work here you literally have to plan out your next year holiday arrangement. It's a complete nightmare to try and apply holiday with this school. You need to apply months or a year in advance.

Pros

Friendly atmosphere, Supportive, wonderful admin and supervisors. Regular performance reviews so you can see where you can improve. A lot of space to develop your own style of teaching and even get involved in designing your own courses. All the teachers are willing to give you advice if you need help.

Cons

There can be a lot of gossip. After a while it can be quite repetitive and salary is apparently based on how many children you teach (which you can't really help...)
