Pros

Punctual about getting you to put your time entered on a weekly basis. Strong in their recruitment methods.

Cons

Lack of communication between staff members in HR and leadership positions. Will fight to keep from having to give you a raise. Will promote you and keep your pay the same. Won't contact you for weeks on end regarding important issues concerning your employment and/or pay. Does not negotiate salary with you, will only dictate to you what they will give you. No 401k match. No competitive salary increases. No plans to ever give you a raise. Will tell you to get certified for higher level IT certs but never increase your pay to match those certs. Constantly threatened via email about reprimands or repercussions for failure to do what they ask. No company perks whatsoever. Basically a company that will take everything they can from you and give you the bare minimum in return.

Supportive Environment with Room for Improvement: While the company fostered a generally supportive environment, there were instances where I felt the need for more consistent support. While my colleagues were friendly and willing to help, there were times when additional guidance or resources could have been beneficial, especially during high-pressure periods or when handling particularly challenging recruitment tasks. Clear Vision with Some Execution Gaps: The company had a clear vision for talent acquisition. However, there were occasional execution gaps that hindered the realization of this vision. These gaps mainly stemmed from inconsistent communication or alignment between different teams within the organization. With more cohesive collaboration, the company could better translate its vision into actionable strategies.

Cons

Limited Growth Opportunities: While the company offered some opportunities for growth and development, I found them to be somewhat limited in my position. Other positions seemed to move faster. There were few structured programs or initiatives in place to support career advancement, and progression within the organization seemed to depend heavily on individual initiative rather than structured pathways. Enhancing the focus on employee development could make the company more attractive to ambitious talent acquisition specialists. Average Tools and Resources: The tools and resources provided by the company were adequate but not exceptional. While they served their purpose, there was room for improvement in terms of functionality and user-friendliness. Investing in more advanced technology or refining existing systems could enhance efficiency and productivity for talent acquisition specialists.
