Pros

Steady work, but there is nothing more that I can think of, the pros would be a potential to outsource

Cons

Unfair management. The reps are on the internet, and talk with each other, more than take calls, yet management does nothing about it. At the end of the year the management will give better raises to their friends. I had one of the highest targets in after call work and handle time, but got one of the lowest pay increase. The employees cheat with their stats by putting the client on hold, or hanging up on them, then the client would phone back, and get mad at the individual that had actually taken the call, and then cancel, which goes against their stats. The retention managers have their favorites, and if you ask for something reasonable, like for the call center to quiet down, so you could take a call, the management would look at you as a complainer. Management never wanted to take escalation calls, and spent alot of times talking on conference calls, and alot over useless things. The director of the company would come to visit the Calgary office, but wouldn't speak to the people that wanted to speak to her and again the management's favorites for to see her. And the director would walk around as if in a fashion show, and discuss where she bought her last pair of 400.00 pair of shoes. Bottom line, very poor management, with no ethics or values. By the way, is give a 0 if I could

Pros

Pros I truly enjoy working at ADT. I have the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, which allows for a great work-life balance. The company offers generous PTO, and more importantly, actively encourages employees to take the time they need to recharge. There’s also a strong sense of job security. ADT is consistently growing, and the steady flow of new hire classes reflects that stability. In my role, I get the opportunity not only to help people start their careers, but also to coach and support agents as they grow professionally and personally. Seeing that development firsthand is incredibly rewarding. On top of that, I work with an amazing team. The people here are supportive, collaborative, and genuinely care about each other’s success, which makes a huge difference in the day-to-day experience.

Cons

While compensation is generally competitive, I would love to see more opportunities for performance-based bonuses to help employees further grow their savings and feel rewarded for their contributions. Additionally, there is some opportunity for improvement in how the building facilities are managed to enhance the overall workplace environment.

Pros

The ONLY “Pro” that I can say is that the few employees that I had extensive training with were not only great teammates, we created a special bond that still and will always exist beyond the company. I value relationships.

Cons

Too many to say so I’ll keep it brief…the weekday hours you work, the weekend and holiday hours, make it difficult to have a work-life balance especially for those with children and significant others….it’s not healthy. When employees make minimal hourly wages they rely on their commission. When their pay period ends on a Saturday after two great weeks, the commission can still reduce significantly up to four days after that pay period….doesn’t make sense. And there is no exact clarification on how this happens. This causes great employees to quit which is one of the major reasons for the company’s high turnover rate. Non business related, you have minimal time to use the restroom or take an important phone call if you work in the office compared to those that work remotely. Those are just a few items that result in employee dissatisfaction and on-going new hire training courses due to the high turnover.
