Pros

The atmosphere of the company is great. You get $70 a month allowance to help pay for your cell phone and they pay you for every mile you drive. They provide company training which is amazing. They offer a very small training wage for the first 3 months.

Cons

When you apply, the company says they will provide you with 4 company appointments a month and you need to self generate 8 sales a month for a total of 12 total sales a month target. They say at 12 sales you will make $60,000 a year. The problem is I go an entire month and do not get a company appointment so If i get my 8 self generated sales, the way the compensation plans works out, You make closer to $30,000 a year. Also, a big percentage of sold jobs do not get installed and some weeks you get no commission checks because the company provides Extremely unqualified leads to the point where you can spend 3 days chasing leads with no sales. When you finally do get a company appointment it is great because it usually turns out being a sale. Also, you are commission but they treat you like a w-2 employee, the have mandatory conference calls and in office meetings with NO PAY. Every tuesday you have to be in the office in the morning for training for 3 hours and you do not get paid.

Pros

Pros I truly enjoy working at ADT. I have the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, which allows for a great work-life balance. The company offers generous PTO, and more importantly, actively encourages employees to take the time they need to recharge. There’s also a strong sense of job security. ADT is consistently growing, and the steady flow of new hire classes reflects that stability. In my role, I get the opportunity not only to help people start their careers, but also to coach and support agents as they grow professionally and personally. Seeing that development firsthand is incredibly rewarding. On top of that, I work with an amazing team. The people here are supportive, collaborative, and genuinely care about each other’s success, which makes a huge difference in the day-to-day experience.

Cons

While compensation is generally competitive, I would love to see more opportunities for performance-based bonuses to help employees further grow their savings and feel rewarded for their contributions. Additionally, there is some opportunity for improvement in how the building facilities are managed to enhance the overall workplace environment.
