Pros

For most people, working as an overseas contractor will pay better than anything comparable in the US. If you're looking to make some money, there are certainly worse ways to do it. The compensation is general sufficient to offset the lack of benefits.

Cons

Be prepared to be a cog in the wheel. As with most contracting companies, the bottom line is what matters most. And while compensation, at least for overseas employees, can be good, the recruitment can play it up nicer than the reality, so it pays to read the fine print.

Pros

Decent starting pay and it increases every year and if you get promoted. They train you very well They pay for your K9 medical bills and food

Cons

Pay from other K9 companies are better but you will be working in many different areas instead of one site so it's a lot of back and forth

Pros

Working with dogs was enjoyable

Cons

-The training in moyock was below average compared to other K9 companies. -The pass rate is 95% because they hire a 3rd party TSA grader. -AMK9 threatens you to pay back $20,000 for training if you do not complete 1 year of your contract. -All dogs are not trained for obedience, unlike police or tsa dogs. -Most dogs do not listen and result to using methods like choking the dogs to "out" the dogs. -Low pay compared to other K9 companies. -They will hire you as part time, then continue to work you 50+ hours without benefits and $20/hours. -Underqualifed personal as management makes operation more stressful than needed. -Monthly odor trainings were ineffective, rushed and half assed every month. -Low retention and high turnover rate.
