- management elected based on how close their style matches the person they have interviewed with. Creates a toxic culture from the top down - the company have not established a good culture across all teams, it is very team specific - benefits advertised like working from home should be taken with a pinch of salt (this again is team specific) - no autonomy and micromanagement is rife - facilities are awful for the size of the company - no one listens to feedback, no opportunity for an exit interview - it is made difficult to progress due to standardised targets across all teams and areas of the business -most like a call centre, not a vibrant working environment - need to be at your desk to be seen to be working, no trust in staff to do their jobs - if you get close to senior leadership, you might stand a chance
