Pros

This was time when they have head office in historical baroque building on small side street, 500 meters from both Kremlin, Red Square, and Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. Historically first Gold Cisco partner in Russia, and at that time Cisco seemed to be visionary, not just one of network companies. The president of the company (foreighner with very good understanding of Russia) walked through the office and shaked hands with employees, asking "how are you, how's business"? Very homy annual meetings at noble restaurant (more like family celebration than business meetings).

Cons

Companies grow, things often change. Bigger company, new (more comfortable) office, still near the City Center though now longer way from old historical lanes and city sights. More aggressive new customer acquisition & new staff acquisition means some steps back in terms of quality of projects, business processes, and step back in new staff level, people education and culture. Still good, comparing to what you can find in Moscow, but clearly not good like it was.

Pros

Exceptional Stability: This is a truly comfortable "till retirement" job. The workload is manageable, and the environment is calm, making it ideal for those seeking predictability and a low-stress professional life. Decent Benefits Package: The company offers a solid social benefits package, contributing to overall employee well-being and security. Reliable Annual Bonus: Expect a yearly bonus, typically just under a month's salary, which is a nice perk and a consistent addition to your income. Regular, Modest Raises: While not substantial, you can generally anticipate a 5-10% salary increase every couple of years, which helps keep pace with living costs over time.

Cons

Limited Growth and Development: If you're looking for rapid career progression, significant skill development, or innovative challenges, this role might not be for you. Opportunities for advancement are minimal. Conservative Management: The leadership tends to be very conservative, which can lead to a lack of new initiatives and a slower pace of change. This might feel restrictive if you prefer a more dynamic or forward-thinking environment.
