Pros

Good location, free parking, that’s it really.

Cons

The vibe of the whole place, terrible upper management, CEO wouldn’t even break breath to anyone below management level, completely put me off agency work!

Pros

Survival Guide 1. Train station / Airport within very close proximity... if you decide by lunchtime on day 1 of your new job that it's not too late to make a dash back to your old employer and beg for your job back. 2. Tesco £3 meal deal, Duck Ragu wrap, Tayto Cheese and onion with Pepsi Max. Value at a price you can afford on the pittance they will be paying you. Dine alone in your car. 3. Nice toilets. Leave some fresh mackerel in the cistern on your last day. It is one of the healthiest seafood options available and will certainly make you feel a lot better when walking out that door, away from "the boulevard of broken dreams" 4. Water cooler tower for free refreshment and awkward small talk. (*amendment* soz - Water cooler has been decommissioned. Maybe just drink the water from the tap in the toilet instead???)

Cons

1. All the plastic people, where do they all come from? Never in all my days have I met such a fake bunch of professional bullshitters. 2. Narcissistic Boss full of her own self-importance. Always playing people off each other and bad-mouthing her own staff. 3. Toxic work environment. Snakes and rats everywhere. 4. ‘Corporate dinosaur’ – inability to move with the times. The office ("studio") has a stale atmosphere - the reception area is naff, the boardroom is tacky, complete with discoloured fine bone china, cut crystal and orange decor. Yuk. 5. Oppressed staff, unmotivated by poor working conditions and inequality. I felt like a slave when I worked here. 6. Inability to recognise and reward good people. The staff all feel undervalued meaning moral is always very low. 7. Management and board are morally bankrupt in every way. They promise. They lie. They cheat. They abuse. They use. They lie some more.
