Pros

Very thorough training. I had a great supervisor. Offered incentives.

Cons

Low pay: $11.60 an hour isn't enough to handle escalated calls. Lacking diversity. I think they were too worried about affirmative action. I felt like the odd woman out.

Pros

Very good company but has poor mid level management as do most companies.

Cons

In seven weeks I had three supervisors. They were all different on what they wanted, which I didn't mind. They had a criteria of getting claims, contacting the insured the same day as you get the claim, which I did. The last supervisor I worked for kept telling me to call her at different times so she could explain her expectations. I called at the proposed time and never once did she answer the call. Then when the claims from the hurricane started slowing down the parameters were changed. I knew the job was temporary and I could be let go at any time I expected a bit more professionalism. It was expected of me to be professional so, it should be expected out of ASI.
