Pros

Joined as a part time employee, part time student. Really good experience during college. Wide ranging responsibilities. Nice training team. Mentored by dedicated staff and managers. Day to day tasks are a good learning tool for great organization skills. I developed my business analytical skills as well, working on various sales data, supply-and-demand trends, and also real world experience. The job also gives the opportunity to travel around the US, and sometimes around the world.

Cons

Sometimes the hours are long, but well worth it.

Pros

Good for Entry Level - ASICO is willing to take chances on hiring and training people new to the field. If you are just starting out it can be a good introduction to learn from. Flexibility - Managers are very open to working with you on alternative schedules or other accomodations

Cons

Management issues - This mainly refers to the company president. Extreme micromanagement. Often unclear or conflicting objectives, and expect to be berated if goals are not met in any way. Hiring practices - Very high turnover due to toxic work environment. Discourages more qualified employees due to rigidity and micromanagement. Many new hires quit or were let go within a month. Poor communication - Expect to be kept in the dark to a ridiculous degree. This compounds with the hiring issues as you often won't be informed of new people starting or leaving, even if you're expected to work closely with them. Misguided directions/Stagnation - Over the time I was at the company, the same ineffective practices were used with no change. Any attempts at improvement were quickly rejected or abandoned. As a result the company does not grow or advance for its employees in any significant way. Toxic Work Environment - Micromanagement and expectations brew issues for the team. Most of the team works very late most days due to excessive deadlines and workload. Issues or mistakes are resolved ineffectively and met with verbal abuse from upper management.
