Pros

- WFH flexibility (dependent on your manager). - STI bonus scheme (but the company is cutting back on these, i.e. intending to give out less money). - Really good, solid people, among the crazy and psychopathic characters - All-day breakfast, tea and coffee, with fruit provided. - ASX Life, which gives discounts across hundreds of retailers. - LinkedIn learning access. - It used to be such a good place to work for. - Improved onboarding and basic technology. - Flat structure where you can talk to all levels of people generally.

Cons

- Monopoly mindset with incompetency across various divisions. - Culture has sunk over the last 2 years since the CHESS failure announcement. - So many good people have either left or been let go. You are stuck with the staff trapped in their ways (with very few good ones left). This means good-natured and highly effective staff will leave while the incompetent and ill-natured stay. - Cheap company where they can't afford basic working technology and staff running very lean across all divisions, including HR and IT. Prepare to be overworked with no one to cover you. Staff morale will continue to plummet as people become former shells of themselves. - A new rule has been implemented that we're not allowed to record meetings unless approved by compliance. This is suspicious in nature, as the company doesn't want the regulators to find out more. - No room for growth. You need to be lucky with the right connections willing to look out for you. Managers also prefer to keep you in your position out of their self-interest. - More budget cuts are coming in FY25 as the company continues to pour money into CHESS and ClearStar (the company's two biggest projects and both are failing but must proceed with these or lose the operating license). - Due to CHESS failure, we are being more regulated by ASIC and RBA. This means there is a focus on that over everything else. Don't expect growth in this company anytime soon. - Leadership and those in senior positions are cold in nature—there is no warmth, no matter how much you are liked or how well you work. - Gossip culture is rampant and instigated by Group Executives trying to pit people against each other. - Questionable hires at the Group Executive level, and trickling down as a result. - Forced Xmas annual leave of 2 weeks minus PH. - There were staff redundancies in February 2024, and more to come. The redundancies were handled badly with poor communication and no empathy from leadership. There were no proper thank yous; just out the door and goodbye. These included people who've worked in the company for 5-20 years. - More redundancies to come and cuts to bonus schemes etc.

Pros

Pay and flexible working options.

Cons

Incompetent management! Very toxic culture! It's a travesty that these guys still have their license and operating. Regulators are all over them, rightfully so, endless restructures with the leaders NEVER taking any accountability. It's almost laughable to a point, Stay away from this place!!
