      Pros

      - Learnt quite a lot by doing. - Was allowed to own my own work most of the time - Salary was okay

      Cons

      - Very political. To get ahead you had to be adequate at your job and know the right people / have the right sponsor - Management paid lip service to its policies and promises - Culture was a bit confused - Bonuses seemed poor relative to industry

      Status and having a job

      Cons

      Long hours , very awful experience, so much frustration due to the infrastructure being held together by manual processes (duct tape). Handover of processes done badly so generally won't know what's going on. High attrition rate, Due to a compensation system that incentivizes senior management to cost cut and claim a bonus at the expense of sustaining the business or any actual innovation. Bad for your mental health and morale.
