Access Response
8yThank you for your feedback and I apologize for the delay in responding. I read each and every comment and take value from all of the constructive feedback we receive.
I am happy to hear you had some great co-workers. We do work hard to build a top notch team and hope to retain them by treating them well. I am sorry to hear you think we miss the mark in that area.
While I openly acknowledge that things at Access aren’t perfect (you can read that in many of my other responses) we do provide a forum for gathering team feedback to address any issues that people have. This includes annual benefits surveys and team member surveys. I read EVERY SINGLE WORD of the results from each and every one of those feedback loops (again, plus here on Glassdoor.com). While we do streamline our workforce from time-to-time, as do most (if not all) businesses, to become more efficient, it is never intended to overwork and/or underpay our team members. We believe a true sign of a great company is one where workers are valued as their greatest asset and one that invests in its team members. We do value our team members and we do invest in them, but I am sorry that you feel otherwise.
We also have a very detailed drug and alcohol policy. The object of Access’s Drug and Alcohol Policy is to provide a drug-free, healthy and safe workplace for all team members which complies with federal and state law. We take this very seriously and would not hesitate to pull a person from their duties if there was a reasonable suspicion that they may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Supervisors are also required to report immediately to the Human Resources Department any team member action or observations that suggest a Team Member may be impaired by drugs or alcohol. I realize you are no longer an employee but I strongly encourage you to email me directly with your concerns. We take this very seriously, but your review is anonymous as to location, so know that I will personally take the time to look into and rectify the situation, if there is one. Please contact me at ralston@accesscorp.com to provide the location where you worked.
If you are uncomfortable contacting me directly, please do help the remaining team members by reporting the drug abuse through our hotline. The Navex Global EthicsPoint service number is 1-855-901-8890. We want to keep a drug free and safe workplace. We also provide an Employee Assistant Program where team members can talk with counselors face-to-face or by telephone about personal issues or concerns. I simply have a hard time believing that we have a branch full of drug addicts, as you suggest, but if we do, I want to help improve the situation and help those team members.
We are improving every day, and with the feedback provided by people like you, we can continue improve and grow in ways that matter most to the team.
Thanks again for taking the time to leave this review, Rob
