Pros
· A few talented people keeping the company going, often out of good will
Cons
· Bizarre policies hastily put into place e.g. attempting to put cameras in toilets?! · Incompetent HR team that constantly struggle in successfully implementing meaningful change · Support staff (non-sales) treated like second class citizens · Sub-cultures throughout the company, often quite literally an upstairs (sales) downstairs (support) class system · Outdated, pointless performance management system meaning staff only get pay increases based on how their face fits with senior management · Poor facilities and facilities management, at times not even providing the bear minimum allowable by law · Board in a rush to sell on the company, quite often at the expense of the staff e.g. freezing pay increases, withholding spend on updating facilities etc. · The company expects and relies on the good will of staff, often wanting staff to go above and beyond without any recognition or renumeration
