Pros
Generally it is a casual work environment with flexible hours. The non-upper-management team is young and fun, mostly because they are all interns or contractors either still in school or recent graduates. In order to incentivize employees there are some perks, like small giveaways and a weekly team lunch. The company believes in good technology, so laptops and machinery are good to work with. It is decent intern experience if you have literally never worked anywhere, now they have hourly pay instead of a stipend that was under minimum wage. You also get to meet and interact with investors.
Cons
Management is condescending to interns and other contractors. Somehow they will use the fact that juniors don't have experience to negate ideas and compensation but will expect more output than what is typically asked of juniors. CEO does not give constructive feedback and is very rude to the entire team.
Hours are bad because you may need to have meetings late at night with Asia team. There is no loyalty to employees. They will let go of people if they are not happy with their work without prior forewarning or promise full-time employment with no intention of keeping that promise.
