It has a friendly family like environment, it is almost like being thrown back to the 1980's when things were much simpler. Some of the products are unique and very interesting and the engineering is good. The people on the shop floor are nice and go the extra mile to get the parts out the door. If you make friends in this organization you will have a job for life. If you make friends in this organization you can make a descent wage. Paid time-off for the Christmas through the New Year.
Cons
It has a friendly family like environment, it is almost like being thrown back to the 1980's when things were much simpler. Some of the family members do not play well with others. I watched a newer manager destroyed and terminated over a personal vendetta with a manager who had been at the company for 25 plus years and upper management stood by and let it happen. Watch your back!!! Some people can not progress past the 1980's mentality which is not the most productive way to run a business. The thought of up-graded computers and JIT/Lean principles scare some employees. Let's get into the 21st century people!!! You need to get the money you want when you come through the door (which maybe difficult) because you will not get it later. 401k is only a 3% annual match.
