Pros
Solid health benefits. Still some good people. Place to be if you really want to work with the cannabis industry.
Cons
Whole new C-suite parachuted in from Riverbed, a company that went from ~$3 billion to $450 million under the leadership of these folks. None of the C-suite have any prior experience with ag or food. So the culture at a relatively small family-owned company has become very big company, old-school, top-down, and traditional corporate. Not really the culture one would associate with growth tech companies. Salaries are below standard, something that in the past was the trade off for security and a healthy family atmosphere. There is not really any way for employees to participate in the hoped for growth, via career advancement or financial incentives. Morale is poor. The company no longer promotes work-life balance. Most employees live in fear of losing their job.
