Crumbling tech stack running on old versions of libraries and runtimes with no strategy to upgrade. Constant redundancies; basically one round per year. The company has never made a profit in over a decade and struggles to find new customers while churning old ones. Career advancement is non-existent, with below industry standard salaries and sub-inflationary pay rises every year, with the pension also being the only benefit provided. Every new engineer, and all prior senior engineers are mandated to be on-call, and although there is a small monetary incentive, it's not really sustainable.
