I look around at some of these great people and wonder to myself "how long till they move on?" There are a few that are obviously too good for the company and would be treated like gold elsewhere.
The work day is a tiring cycle of bad decisions coming from up top. Then you work hard in the best interest of the client all year, preventing clients from leaving, bailing out senior management. But in the mean time you watch wasteful spending in other areas then review bonus time comes around there is zero reward for any hard work so it's easy to lose any and all motivation and just bide your time as you search for another job. If you're into just following along, not really caring about client retention or employee retention, just keep you head down and nod yes when you need to then you'll thrive here.
