Pros

Place was utterly on fire and but had a good name recognition so you get lots of opportunity to do things and grow. Not healthy structured growth but growth by fire

Cons

Three different leadership regimes were there in my time and every single one of them cared nothing about the staff and were incredibly short sited. After a long negotiation process for a new title with multiple meetings about the function of the role, I finally got my title changed with a new job description. And three months later I had no less than three people in leadership look me blankly in the face and ask what my job was then fired not a week later.

Journalistic integrity has improved in the past several years.
