You will enjoy the tacit autonomy afforded by do-nothing management that offloads their responsibilities onto subordinate staff and only chimes in to mandate overtime. You will never have to take time to redo your personal budget because raises and bonuses are nearly non-existent. You will never have to stress about getting that promotion because there are none to be given. The bathrooms are usually clean.
Cons
The company, by design, is kept below 50 employees to avoid federal mandates requiring family and medical leave, affirmative action compliance, EEO-1 reporting, ACA and WARN Act compliance. Workers are treated like subhuman batteries to be expended and discarded leading to wild turnover. You will be overworked and severely underpaid and nothing will ever be done to address it because young, naĂŻve, and desperate batteries are always available to be hired, sold a lie, and expended like countless others before.
