Review - Crop Consultant Ag View FS Employee Review

Ag View FS is one of the better farming co-ops in the 5 county area they serve. The benefits are superior to most places, hands down. 401k, profit sharing, and pension are retirement benefits worth looking at when you are planning your future. The people are the biggest asset as 95% of them are easy to work with. You aren't a number at Ag View FS, but a person and are treated as such. The salaries are competitive for the most part depending on the position.

A career track at this company can be hard if you are looking to advance your career. There are limited opportunities to move up the ladder but they can be attained with A LOT of patience. Some positions, the salaries aren't competitive with the local competition.

I really liked working for this company. The 401 (k) benefits were exceptional. The people who work there are good. The work environment is comfortable and not threatening. Plenty of holiday time with the standards and includes President's Day. Pension available. Profit sharing is available, but it gets invested directly into your 401 (k). Your retirement will grow exponentially.

The pay is livable but not commensurate with the work that is given to some people who work in those jobs. There is very little room for advancement, so if you are comfortable with the same job for the foreseeable future, it's fine. It wasn't for me, though, and I had to look for another job. Leadership can be "secretive" at times, and they aren't good at sharing their vision for the company in a way that makes you feel included.
