Pros
-Some highly intelligent, idealistic team members
Cons
I joined fairly recently, and I already regret it. I’m actively looking for other opportunities because it’s clear this company has no stability, no real direction, and no regard for its employees.
In early 2025, nearly the entire executive team was fired within only 2-3 weeks, including the SVP of Technology, COO, and CRO. The one leader still standing is constantly changing priorities, overriding established processes, and making decisions that feel more reactive than strategic. It’s created a chaotic, demoralizing environment where nobody knows what’s coming next.
Middle managers are basically left to fend for themselves, trying to hold things together with little guidance or support. ICs are expected to keep up with constant changes, often with zero communication or explanation from leadership. There’s no stability, just shuffling priorities, conflicting directions, and a general feeling that nobody in charge really knows what’s going on.
At first, I thought maybe this was just a rough patch, but after talking to people who have been here longer, it’s clear that past layoffs, RIFs, and major strategy pivots aren’t flukes. The company constantly makes big changes without thinking through the consequences, and employees are left scrambling to adjust or just shown the door.
If you’re thinking about joining, be warned. This isn’t just a startup with growing pains. This is how they operate. And if you’re expecting stability, clear communication, or even just basic respect for employees, you’re going to be disappointed.
