When Covid first struck, i was 1 week out from completing probation, had received no negative feedback to date to suggest there was any issues with my work. The week of lockdown i was fired due to uncertainty around the pandemic. They could have kept me on and furloughed me but decided not to. They also retracted an offer for someone else same day.
When things get challenging or uncertain, you see peoples true colours. This company offers no support for their staff and does not back their staff long term.
Owner was authoritarian and not open to new ideas, quite inflexible and controlling.
One of the consultants didn't understand what the term business model meant which was an amber flag.
No diversity in the team, all white men except two women as office support.
