      Pros

      The technology is fantastic and the new leadership team is paving a path for success.

      Cons

      We are actively rebuilding our reputation in the OSS community bc we are 1 of 5 companies who have shifted our licensing model of a widely deployed open source software. Facing some churn with customers as they are turning away from the new pay structure. It's a challenging place to be in but we are leading the way for others to follow suit. Becoming profitable increases the longevity of our business and everyone wants, and deserves, to be paid for good work.

      Pros

      Strong value prop in the market. Smart, ambitious colleagues. Lots of autonomy to build your business. They need business owners - people who can operate under ambiguity, people who pave their own way through dark alleys, and people who find motivation and share enthusiasm for their work.

      Cons

      If you're looking for a well-oiled machine, go to a bigger org. This is a true startup and you've got to have the mindset to make it happen.

      Amazing colleagues, challenging work, changing the programming world, quarterly engineering meetups anywhere in the globe, prestige.

      Cons

      US benefits aren't top-notch, but they aren't terrible either.
