Pros

There are some talented and hardworking people across the organization who genuinely try to do their best despite constant challenges and resistance to their efforts to improve workflows. A few team members are supportive and collaborative, but they are often stretched too thin to make a lasting difference.

Cons

Akumin's marketing department has a toxic work environment driven by poor leadership, lack of accountability, and constant instability. Communication is inconsistent, expectations shift without warning, and employees are often left feeling unsupported, undervalued, and in emotionally challenging situations. Leadership decisions seem reactive instead of strategic, which creates unnecessary stress and confusion across the team. Morale suffers when strong employees are overworked while deeper organizational issues go unaddressed. The culture makes it difficult to feel secure, respected, or optimistic about long-term growth.
