Cons
-Role is generally fast-paced and high pressure -PM's will sometimes over-promise to clients and cause intense workload crunch-times -Income is not sufficient for expectations within role and workload. Away work trips usually follow regular contract for payment, no compensation for being away from home- only food and accommodation. -Too many systems in place. Payroll time-sheets, allocated hours, safety audits prior to beginning jobs and even logging equipment use are not streamlined and have a separate application to fill out.
