Cons

As with most SDR roles, the pace is high and the work is goal-oriented. Some days involve a lot of outreach activity, and it can take time to ramp up and consistently hit targets.

-Strong company growth -Great teamwork -Lots of potential for personal growth -Getting to work with top global companies as our customers -Work and personal time is very balanced I started off relatively new to the IT industry on the support team and was consistently rewarded with promotions as I have grown. I was able to transition the deployment team and continue to grow.

Cons

It is still a new and growing company. Some of the benefits of a fully developed big company/corporation are still being developed.

I've had the opportunity to work at AlgoSec for several years and have grown both technically and professionally during my time here. The company provides exposure to some of the world's largest enterprise environments, allowing engineers to work on complex network security, firewall management, cloud security, and automation projects. One of the biggest strengths of AlgoSec is its customer-focused culture. Employees are trusted to take ownership, collaborate across teams, and contribute ideas. There are plenty of opportunities to learn new technologies, work with major security vendors, and develop expertise in areas such as security policy management, cloud security, compliance, and automation. The leadership team is approachable, and the work environment encourages continuous learning and professional growth. Colleagues are knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help. A great company for professionals who are passionate about cybersecurity, network automation, and working with enterprise customers. I've gained valuable experience, expanded my technical expertise, and had opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

Cons

As with any customer-facing role, priorities can shift quickly based on business needs and customer requirements. At times, managing multiple projects and deadlines can be challenging, especially during high-demand periods.
