All Better Together Response
4yHi,
Thank you for taking the time to share about your time with us at All Better Together. Honesty means a lot to me and your honest feedback is appreciated.
I’m especially happy to hear that the individualized support you received from our admin team and Clinical Program Managers left a positive impression. I feel really proud that we’re able to provide that support to our Behavior Technicians.
You’re right that our small size doesn’t allow much room for growth, unless someone is pursuing advanced certifications in the field. There are talented BTs who really love this field but do not want to become BCBAs and absolutely have a lot to offer the field. I hope we’ll someday have the capacity to offer different paths that allow growth and additional ways to share skills.
I want to be sure I respond to your note that you found me to be a bit of a dictator at times. First, I apologize for any interactions in which that was the impression I gave. No one wants to work for a dictator and that isn’t the kind of manager I want to be. I care about this field a lot and care that we provide our services in a way that never strays from our field’s ethical code and best practices. However, I acknowledge that in my pursuit of these personal (and company) values there are likely times that my communication style may be more abrupt than I intend. I’m sorry that was your experience.
If you would be willing to share more with me, please contact me at tony@allbettertogether.com or 510-517-6949. I want working at All Better Together to be rewarding for every member of our team and to have this be a workplace that people who love working in ABA are proud to call home for years. It sounds like your experience may not have been everything we want it to be and learning more details would be really valuable.
Again, thank you very much for taking the time to leave this review and sharing your thoughts.
Sincerely,
Tony Alberding, MA, BCBA
