Pros

Located in NP, so technically food there is cheap. However, if you're looking to join during the pandemic then it doesn't matter. Great if you're looking to work with a group of young people

Cons

- Way below market rate pay (like wayyyyy) - Questionable integrity of CEO - Long working hours, generally because no one has a sense of time or rather good time management. Time is like rubber to them, so meetings keep getting dragged or pushed back (i.e. after 7 pm). The team keeps getting distracted easily which resulted in a waste of a lot of time. Meetings easily stretch past dinner time. - Was told that my personal plans were secondary to the job and that I had to explain to my friends/relative to be understanding that I can't always stick to our plans despite plans being AFTER working hours. - Definitely not the place if you're looking for industry-standard mentorship. Basically spent most of my time there google-ing what to do.

Pros

Meaningful Impact: Every day, I get to help students access free resources and contribute to causes that truly matter. It’s rewarding to know my work supports social good and makes a difference in students’ lives. • Joyful Customer Interactions: It’s always uplifting to see the happy faces of students when they receive their orders. Those moments make the effort worthwhile. • Valuable Learning Experience: The role offers a strong learning curve, especially in building trust through outreach and negotiation. It’s fulfilling to develop these skills while genuinely helping others. • Competitive Compensation: The company offers a solid base salary paired with performance-based bonuses. This incentivizes us to help more students and successfully close every order, making the work both rewarding and motivating.

Cons

Seasonal Lull Periods: There are a couple of slower months each year when demand drops and incentives can be harder to achieve. During these times, I have to rely mainly on my base pay. However, this only happens for about two months per year and is manageable overall.
