Pros
I can't think of anything positive to say about this "company".
Cons
Hired to be a caregiver but was treated like a maid. I did very little "caregiving". I was expected to clean bathrooms, kitchens, do laundry, make beds, and numerous other chores for very little pay. As a contract worker, you are paying self employment tax. You use your personal vehicle with no company mileage reimbursement. The coordinators could not care less about you. It seems to me that the only one benefitting from you working at this company is the owner. The coordinators are regular full time employees that are paid a lot more than the caregivers. They do the hiring. They have 401k, insurance, and aren't 1099 employees. Be aware that these folks are really taking advantage of the caregivers that come to work for this company. Caregivers should not be classified as independent contractors. Just don't let this company take advantage of you. It should be illegal to treat workers like that. I feel for the naive worker that may not realize this until they have wasted their time, money, and dignity.
