You can do the bare minimum and still get by, largely because performance measurement and accountability are poorly implemented, if they even exist at all. Occasional free milk tea. Fun bunch of colleagues. That is all.
Cons
AVOID if you are looking to grow technically. Management allows no breathing room and no support for your learning. Seniors will be constantly busy and you have to "make your own time". Politics and nepotism is king in Alphawave. Toxic people are allowed to flourish here - no corrective action will be taken even if you have a mountain of irrefutable evidence on their behavior, since they align themselves well with upper-management. Actual work performance and contributions have minimal impact on advancement. Consistency is not rewarded and is taken for granted. Advancements are reserved for the favorites, even when their actual impact is minimal. No transparency and accountability in promotions and team recognition. Zero bonus last year due to an incident outside of anyone's control. No one feels well supported. Nobody truly cares here. Demotivating place to grow.
