Yes, it is an extremely faced paced environment and employees must be dynamic. Being a start-up technology company, that should be expected as the race to commercialization is on. There is high turnover, but that is to ensure that only the most talented people are being brought in continuously to ensure future success of the company.

Many intellectual people in each department, very willing to help and teach. Especially helpful in a small startup environment. Tons of opportunities to learn, promoted individual growth. Great benifits. Great pay. Best I have seen in my career search. Company dynamic was moving in the right direction, thanks to the plant manager. Great place for an entry level employee learn and grow. Great potential to work on startups of commercial scale plants across the US and Brazil. Just didn't work out.

Very difficult to run a biotechnology startup in the current biofuels economy. Communication and trust was present within groups, but faulty between departments which lead to many inefficiencies. Work/life balance did not exist. Understandable with a typical startup company. Few bad eggs really drove out the good people at all levels of the company. HR threatened to sue employees for putting bad reviews on glass door. HR worked for the company, not the employees. These views are 100% my own, and do not reflect the views of American Process.
