Trust is a huge issue here. In the office, someone is always breathing down your back waiting for you to make a mistake. Only for that mistake to be given back to you so YOU can find the mistake yourself. this is a good way to learn at first, but after 7 years of dedicating yourself to a company to be treated less like a 7 year old would be better.
