Amperity is full of genuinely kind, smart, and thoughtful people who care about doing great work and supporting one another. My team is one of the main reasons I’ve stayed here; they’re collaborative, empathetic, and fun to work with.
The company offers excellent benefits (no-cost employee healthcare premiums with thoughtful coverage like fertility benefits, transportation subsidies, free snacks + subsidized lunches, and a great office space), and they're super forward-thinking when it comes to AI both in our product and within our own culture.
In my time here, I’ve been promoted twice, consistently challenged to grow, and encouraged to explore new areas of interest. Leadership has given me room to make mistakes and learn from them, which has helped me develop both professionally and personally. I’ve learned so much from my colleagues and continue to be impressed by the caliber of people Amperity attracts.
Cons
It’s been turbulent at times over the last few years, with several leadership changes and rounds of layoffs that have understandably shaken confidence and affected morale. The current leadership team is working hard to steer the business in the right direction, but at times, they feel a bit distant. The company is in a “grind” phase. We have a lot of potential, but also a lot of hard work happening behind the scenes.
