Pros
They are extremely focused on shipping fast. They have managed to attract some excellent people and are making investments in automation. Senior leaders regularly engage directly with clients.
Cons
While speed is a concern for this company, quality is not. They do not do the basic 'blocking and tackling' of warehousing well. Receiving, inventory control, and material movement are particularly weak areas. Sanitation and pest control are also given little consideration. Audit findings are regularly not addressed and are listed as findings on follow-up audits. Training records are either not updated or are filled in in a last-minute rush prior to audits or client visits. Multiple mid-level leaders are either never trained on or do not understand the WMS systems. The average workload for mid-level leaders is high and contributes to some of the issues listed above as it's not unusual to simply not have time to properly handle the basics.
