Pros
There are good opportunity to learn various areas of tax compliance and consulting. There are also fun people to work with at times, as well as a good opportunity to move around other offices in the company. Lastly, there are some really smart people at the management and partner level that one would be able to learn a lot fun if given the exposure to them needed to actually learn.
Cons
The pay is dismal. There is a lack of proper leadership, with most time spent on management preferential satisfaction and not substantive work. A lot of passive aggressiveness from management. Unrealistic expectations during busy seasons.
