I was laid off after my project ended (client optimized his budget).
Salary reviews are symbolic and very hard to get.
I was explicitly told that if I wanted to earn more, I should become a manager, as internal department staff are considered more valueable.
At on point, I had to work in a "shadow-proxy" format - basicall doing the job for someone else (using credentials, name, etc.), which was stressfull and risky.
Like in many outsourcing companied, I was exoected to "enhance" my CV with fake projects and experience, despite having over 6 years of real professional background.
