Great place to work - Finance Manager Anode Employee Review

The negative reviews used to be true. NOT ANYMORE. The company has been purchased and has completely new management, and it shows. Now the environment around the office is light and fun. The new owner seems to really care about his employees and wants them to enjoy coming to work. It really is a whole new world around here. The work is varied in scope, medium and exposure. The projects are often challenging, which I love.

We have offices in 3 cities, so communication could be better. We are now using Slack, so that seems to be helping tremendously.

- Wonderful clients that are fun to work with as well as great resume-boosters - Most of the team are great people who are good at theyre jobs - Company wellness/gym membership perk is nice if you're into that - Opportunities for financial bonuses when the company is doing well

- Owner/president of company is manipulative and abusive to his employees. Yells, uses foul and demeaning language, constantly berates employees about both big things (client work) and little things (clothing choices). Is not comfortable giving any power to his management/VP team. - Work/life balance is not a thing here. Your time belongs to the company - including your weekends, your mornings and your nights. - Constant pressure on employees means frequent emotional breakdowns at work. Lots of yelling, crying, and storming out. - Employee turnover is frequent.
